·ÛºìÅ®ÀÉ was proud to help launch Healthy Horizons on 14 November.
Healthy Horizons is online platform that aims to support migrant and refugee women to better understand their health. The information available in English, Mandarin and Arabic describes common health conditions, provides health tips, and helps women navigate the Australian healthcare system.
It was developed in partnership with ·ÛºìÅ®ÀÉ.
Speakers at the launch included:
– The Hon. Ged Kearney MP – Assistant Minister for Health and Aged Care
– Ms Celia Street – First Assistant Secretary of Population Health Division, Department of Health and Aged Care
– Dr Nisha Khot – ·ÛºìÅ®ÀÉ Board Director
– Chiedza Malunga – Victoria-based public health professional with experience in refugee health and sexual and reproductive health promotion and research in multicultural communities.
