Resources

Downloadable resources

Through our academy you will discover practical tools you can use to develop your skills in core areas of teaching in medicine.

The tools can be used by you as self-assessment scales, to provoke and inform reflection on your own teaching practices and skills, at the bedside, in small group teaching, or in a feedback discussion.

You can also use these resources for a colleague or peer to provide you with insights in an observed teaching or feedback session.

Before undertaking an observed session, we recommend reading and sharing the strategies mentioned with your colleague.

Online resources and collaboration

The medical education community is a global group with diverse experiences, in-depth expertise, and a vibrant research agenda. You can become a part of the community by joining one of the many associations or societies, or by becoming an attendee at one of the exciting and expanding global medical education conferences.

We will continue expanding their database of global communities in medical education. The following are all vibrant groups with extensive online resources and stimulating annual meetings. Check out their websites for more information and prepare to take off for educational inspiration and motivation.
